Have another helping of predictive programming.

###

Based on one of the greatest video game series of all time, ‘Fallout’ is the story of haves and have-nots in a world in which there’s almost nothing left to have. 200 years after the apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind — and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird and highly violent universe waiting for them. From executive producers Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, the creators of Westworld, starring Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Walton Goggins and more. All episodes arrive April 11 on Prime Video.

  • You’re so right about the predictive programming. I can’t wait to watch it through for the social engineering and because I grew up with Fallout. I really enjoy it’s dark humor (of all the games so far), it’s internal propaganda mocks our reality so well it might make it worth a watch. For example the Enclave is the breakaway civilization of technology (DARPA) and the brotherhood of steel are the techno cultists. Also probably because too much of my life hours was dedicated to modding and replaying the entire series repeatedly. I do remember a point in my life when I thought it might be cool to live in that world probably because of the social engineering of these games. Thanks for posting this, I probably would not have sought it out otherwise.
