this needs a tweak to give this unfortunate syndrome an officially recognised medical term. ’embarrassing drink disorder’. ie the inability to order a proper manly drink like everyone else. i did this recently. it was the end of a long, hot, hard day’s work outside and i couldn’t cope with being smashed by alcohol as well. so i ordered ‘The Afternoon Rebalancer’. it was only when the big wine glass full of pink ice, a bit of cucumber and 2 big straws arrived, that i realised why even my dad was looking at me strangely. yes i am strange, but not like that! thanks everyone
