Joseph Farrell weighs in with Dark Journalist, Daniel Liszt on the post-inaugural landscape and how Joe Biden’s 30+ Executive Orders issued in less than a week in office, compounded by the incoming Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act of 2021 (DTPA) being tabled by Congress is an ominous parallel to Adolf Hitler’s legislation-by-decree (dictatorship), which was further bolstered by a change in the oath taken by German armed forces.
“One of the first things Hitler did when he gained power was to oversee the passage of the Enabling Act, which consolidated the roles of the German Presidency with the Premiership of the Reich, so that all functions of the state cohered in him.”
In the US system, this would roughly equate to coalescing the roles of President, Vice-President and the Speaker of the House into one.
Farrell says, the next thing the Enabling Act did, “And I’m just waiting for this to come through, Daniel…is the change in the oath that the German armed forces took…what Hitler did was institute a new oath…the oath was changed from an oath to the state or to the nation to a personal oath of fealty to Hitler, himself…
“As you’ve pointed out, we’ve had our ‘Reichstag Fire’, with the ‘storming’ of the Capitol…and now we have this Domestic Terrorism Bill, which looks to me, if not an American ‘Enabling Act’, at least a step in that direction.”
