This video report is so head-spinning, on so many levels, that I give it a triple thumbs up for sheer entertainment value.
You see, I fail to believe in the story that Osama bin Laden was killed in Abbottabad, Pakistan in May of 2011, therefore, the convoluted drama being spun in this videoto me has more layers of BS than a Dobos Torte (that labor-intensive pastry served at fine restaurants around the world).
So, I was just going to run this clip as a humorous Theater of the Absurd about media manipulation until I looked a little deeper into The Western Center for Journalism, the deep-pocketed, neoconservative non-profit group that produced this clip, whose mission is: “Training the Next Generation of Communicators”
I learned that TWC is the owner of the popular Conservative news website, WorldNetDaily, which also happens to have been censored by Obama’s Department of Defense, at Air Force Bases around the country during this past week.
Moreover, this is not the first time this has happened. WND was blocked at Navy and Marine Corps bases worldwide, back in 2007.
So, it gets even better! “Security issues” were cited in both instances, along with “mission issues” (a.k.a. censorship) in this latest one.
