A Chinese news agency reported that radiation from the Japanese nuclear plant meltdown could blow over the Western half of North America.
The report noted the extreme secrecy the Japanese government has always shown during nuclear accidents. The meltdown of two (now 4) of the Fukushima reactors was triggered by Japan’s catastrophic earthquake, now upgraded to 9.1 on the Richter scale. 4,000 have been reported dead with thousands more people missing.
The the American Servicemen on the carrier USS Ronald Reagan, which was sent to Japan to help with the repairs of the facility have been ordered to stay 50 miles away from the ailing nuclear plant due to the high levels of radiation discovered on the aircraft involved with spraying water on the coolant towers.
