Many buy Cancún vacation packages and hook up with their coyotes in Tapachula or Mexico City, bypassing the Darien Gap, entirely.
Michael says that although the numbers of migrants that we’re seeing currently is unprecedented, he believes that we haven’t even begun to see the huge numbers that are coming.
