The emergence of this new camera mount has been made possible by the relatively recent development of extremely small High Definition cameras like the GoPro, which was concurrent with development of small quadracopters, which offer much increased stability, compared to the model helicopters, which I was experimenting with, as a music video director in the 1990s. Long-life batteries also help to keep the rig light, instead of lugging nitromethane fuel tanks around, like in the old days.
The convergence of all of these technologies have made Epic Drone Videos possible.
