A half century ago the company I was working for wanted me to move to Aurora Colorado to hep open up the state to their new offices in northern Colorado. Colorado was then a friendly low cost of living cowboy state, but I declined because I didn’t like snow or cold high altitude winter weather and rocks.
Then there was the wave of NYC & Chicago residents followed by Californians and up and up and up went the cost of living, aggressive hostile neighbors, crime and some of my family exited Colorado when it became apparent to them much of it had become a police state. That was a decade or so ago.
It’s foreign, planned, well funded and it’s spreading fast—what are you gonna DO about it, hmmmm?
