Despite the title, this isn’t technically a Gauss weapon. Gauss weapons fire using magnetic rings, while this is basically an untied-down Newton’s cradle.
The gentleman who created this video explains that the four Neodymium Magnet Cylinders in this wooden gun are a quarter inch in diameter by a half an inch long and are diametrically magnetized.
