Promoters of the NeoCube say, “The NeoCube is composed of 216 individual high-energy sphere magnets, which can be formed into BILLIONS of shapes and patterns. It is highly addictive!” You can hear the guy’s heavy breathing!
[UPDATE] Since the introduction of the NeoCube and our posting of this video, this product — essentially strings of highly powerful neodyium magnet spheres — has been discontinued.In response to a child’s reported death from swallowing at least two of these balls, in 2012, Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) wrote a letter to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). The CPSC then successfully pressured to the manufacturer to halt production.
But still . . . still . . . we think these things look darn cool.
