In his book, ‘The Party’s Over: How the Republican Party Went Crazy, Democrats Became Useless and the Middle Class Got Shafted,’ Lofgren explains to Moyers how the book explains how “deregulation, financialization of the economy, the Wall Street bust, the erosion or our civil liberties and perpetual war,” were all orchestrated by members of the Deep State: the hybrid of Corporate America and the National Security State; 70% of the intelligence budgets go to private contractors.
