This economic video admits that it speaks of fictional events — but seeks to serve as a warning to keep you prepared.
[UPDATE] Since this video was posted, QE4 has yet to come to pass. But that doesn’t mean too much considering that the Federal Reserve would design QE3 to be “open-ended.” What hasn’t come to fruition is a continued rise in the cost of gold, whose price has actually tailed off.
As a further critique, this video somewhat underestimates the Chinese manufacturing machine’s dependence on American consumers.
