The Tea Party’s whole point was to protest the bailouts of the banks. But why didn’t they show up at Occupy Wall Street?
Why didn’t they protest at the Federal Reserve? Why didn’t they protest on Wall Street? Why didn’t they protest at the Treasury?
Those are the people who sponsored welfare for the rich. Our leaders misdirected us away from the banks. A lot of the Tea Party leadership are the same people who took money from the same financial speculators who don’t want protests against big business.
