South African ‘Stonehenge’

Seventy-five thousand years ago was built “Adam’s Calendar,” probably the oldest man-made sculpture on earth.

Located on the edge of a mountain in South Africa lie its remain. This spectacular ruin was only discovered as recently as 2003. It outdates the Mayan and Sumerian calendars and is aligned to the directions, solstices and equinoxes.

Also at the site was a sculpture of a Horus hawk head, which stood greeting the sunrise eons ago. “Adam’s Calendar” takes us closer to the origins of humans than ever.
