The cold fusion skeptics may find themselves chuckling at this video but they shouldn’t — nor should they laugh at the story of Joseph Papp, the noble gas engine inventor who changed the energy scene in the 1950s.
This is a first — a conversion of a four-cylinder Volvo engine. It’s taking allegedly “nonreactive” chemical elements — such as argon, krypton, neon, helium or xenon — and causing them to explode to drive an engine.
No intake, no exhaust, developing tremendous torque and would run for approximately 7,000 hours continuously before refueling. Papp passed away in 1989, taking the Gas Formula with him.
