One of the first reporters to blow the whistle on News of the World phone hacking was found dead.
Ruper Murdoch, the owner of Fox News Channel, News of the World, and their parent company News Corporation, saw his whole family come under fire for the scandal.
The whistleblower, Sean Hoare, told The New York Times that hacking celebrity and murder victims’ phones was encouraged at the tabloid.
The police say that no foul play was involved. But can they be trusted if they were turning a blind eye to the Murdoch empire’s privacy violations?
