This is a short film (under 15 mins) is a work-in-progress by Mathieu Asselin about a group of farmers in Indiana who have been falsely accused of using Monsanto’s GMO seeds and how they were dragged through the courts, losing roughly half a million dollars each defending themselves, usually by settling out of court, where no party was assigned blame, as this was the least expensive alternative for small farmers without the infinite pockets of Monsanto, and without Monsanto’s merciless agenda to destroy small farmers.

In the aftermath of their outrageous ordeals, Dave Runyon, Troy Roush and Moe Parr (a seed cleaner who was sued by Monsanto for “encouraging GM soybean farmers to save their seed” have traveled the world, speaking out publicly about Monsanto’s reckless, domineering business practices.

The current US Administration appears to be the most pro-Monsanto that we have seen so far. The Senate passed HR 933 that contains the “Monsanto Protection Act” 73 to 26.

Of the 26 who voted against it, 25 were Republicans. One Democrat voted against it. If you want to know how your senators and representatives voted, here the list:
