Terry Wahls got diagnosed with a disease for which there is no cure: Multiple sclerosis. That was before her disease became worse.
Failing mitochondria cause shrinking brains in MS patients. Using fish oil, creatine and Coenzyme Q, mice brains have grown back as a result. Wahls was able to slow the decline of her own disease with these chemicals.
She further protected her brain using her studies.
