Richard Sowa has created a paradise from plastic bottles. It took three years of work, but from trash he made an island he could claim as his own. It’s the length of a tennis court and held within fishing nets.
Apparently the Mexican authorities have been trying to add his island to the map in order to get some tax revenue.
We just wish he would remove the bottle labels so they don’t float away and mess up the ecosystem.
