It’s an old gun truism to “never point a firearm at anything unless you intend to destroy it.” In this video, an LAPD officer, in an apparent attempt to use the flashlight on his weapon, points his gun at a citizen journalist at Occupy Los Angeles. Cluelessly, the officer inquires why the man, who has a gun in his face, is worried.
The irate civilian fires back that what he is doing is against code, and the surrounding crowd immediately albeit peacefully lashes out. “Guns down! Guns down!” they yell. Courtesy of Russia Today, this video portrays the sense of fear by law enforcement, which is unto itself alarming, when faced with peaceful protest.
