Before finally succumbing to cancer, former Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez even looked to his political enemies in the United States as possible causes of his illness.
“It’s hard to explain what’s been happening to some of us here in South America,” he said, “looking at the law of probability.”
Chavez then referenced the cancer of Brazilian presidential candidate (and now President) Dilma Rousseff and Paraguayan President Fernando Lugo.
Central American leader Alvaro Colom had recently asked the U.S. government to take responsibility for conducting amoral experiments on Guatemala. Could those experiments have been linked to cancer-inducing technology?
