Celerino Castillo III worked in the law enforcement field because his whole family was in it.
Castillo discusses having helped the DEA train death squads to kill people in Latin America. After that he would infiltrate the Mexican drug cartels, pretending himself to be a drug dealer. Eventually, on the taxpayer dollar, he got his first taste of torturing people — using waterboarding and even cattle prods on people’s genitalia, alongside Mexican officials.
