Dr. Robert Willner was a medical doctor who did not believe that HIV was the cause of AIDS. Willner would lose his medical license for making medical claims for food products — having asserted that diet, lifestyle changes and sanitation can prevent all disease.
He publicly injected himself with HIV-infected blood several times before he died of a heart attack (without a sign of AIDS).
