This is footage of the EM-15, which could definitely have some military applications once production ramps up. Unfortunately, though, with capacitors as they are, one has to wait 16 seconds between shots.
It shoots a .30 caliber projectile, made of metal, at vary velocities. Try loading the typical Glock and dialing up on the pistol how much you want your typical bullet to go. (Not going to happen.)
Hmmm, you could probably take someone out with this thing, at extreme close range but let’s not go there…
What’s darn scary about this thing is how quiet it is!
