Before James Bond, there was Leutrell “Mike” Osborne. He played a critical role in “the company.”

In the ’50s, Osoborne one of the first African-Americans to hold such a management position. By the time he was 17, he had decided that he was going to the agency, how to take pictures and how to enlarge them.

As a photographer for the CIA in 1957, he was record-setting for having had a mother and his own career in the CIA. He would go on to supervise over officers and agents on three different continents.
