Biggest Nuke Ever


 Some called it Kuz’kina Mat’, “Kuzka’s mother,” which references Krushchev’s pledge at the United Nations to “show” the United States.

The shock wave from this weapon was so gigantic that it effectively prevented its staggering 8 kilometer from touching the ground. When this thing went off, the bomber that launched it, then 45 kilometers away, fell a kilometer due to that shock wave.
