Being a Detective Who Talks to Ghosts

The Onion is the funniest organization in America. This piece completely shoots holes through any romantic ideas people may have about psychics working with cops.

A real-life (but not really) clairvoyant medium helps police solve crimes. But he says that being a conduit between police officers and the supernatural world . . . isn’t really exciting at all. Mostly paperwork.

Usually a message from the spectral realm, he says, is an odd arrangement of rocks.

He critiques that a clairvoyant would scream. Clues that you get from vision, he says, don’t hit you over the head like that.
