It’s sad to have to report that, on the outskirts of Los Angeles, in Antelope Valley, U.S. citizens have fight for the right to live on their own land.
They’re a collection of rugged individualists willing to brave the scorching desert.
But the police have specifically gone after them, with self-described “nuisance abatement teams” — armed county inspection squads that target zoning and code violations.
The plight of these individualists eventually came to a head. One man had managed to build a really cool house out of telephone polls, but these corrupt police officers have forced him to destroy his beautiful home.
