As seen in the “rods” phenomenon, anomalous video artifacts relating to the digital chips and/or tape used in a given camera, combined with lens refraction can lead to a less “true” picture of distant high-speed events, when the footage is slowed down, frame-by-frame and when the pixels are blown up…or *does* it?

In these two shots of the planes colliding into the World Trade Center towers, the second airplane, especially looks more like a holographic phantasm than a solid object. In both cases, the explosions relating to the planes’ collisions appear to occur prior to the planes’ impact…(?!)

There is a sector of the “Tinfoil Hat” community that alleges that *no planes* crashed into the WTC, at all; that some kind of high-tech holograms were used to create these illusions. This has bred resentment among the families of those who lost loved ones on those flights.

Having formerly lived one block from the WTC for 8 years until FEMA told me to leave, I am too traumatized to comment further. My heart goes out to everyone who lost family and friends on that tragic day.
