This is footage of 300,000 starling involved in a spring ballet. They seem to morph, as if one organism, in the air.
A flock of starlings is known as a murmuration. Highly social animals, the motions you can see above indicate that this wasn’t taking in the breeding season (but the weather kind of hints at that, too).
