Amongst the thousands of products made from hemp, one of the most extraordinary was Henry Ford’s 1941 partially hemp car. The founder of the modern assembly line built it from cellulose fibers derived from hemp, sisal and wheat straw.

The composite plastic was stronger than steel but could withstand 10 times the impact without denting.

And to think that, to this day, industrial hemp farming is still outlawed by the tyrannical U.S. government.
