There are many cool developments in science and technology coming to fruition right now and one of the more interesting areas has to do with re-thinking the whole idea of a home. And it’s not a moment too soon, in an era where the global real estate bubble has priced out almost everybody in a major metropolitan region who didn’t or couldn’t buy one 20 years ago.
This has led to the proliferation of the Tiny House Movement and the even more extreme Van Life and many companies are designing affordable, slick-looking, shipping container-sized units that can be delivered to the location of choice. On the more innovative end of this spectrum, we see exciting automated modular constructions that can be deployed to unfold into pre-wired smarthomes, with no on-site construction required – and then packed up just as easily and moved to the next location, as needed.
Thumbs up, provided the ‘smart’ (EMF generating hijackable control ware) tech can be disabled. Thanks for posting this article.
Thank you once again, for all that you do.
When will those images be reality? Certainly not in Amerika. Those stairs without railings?! No handicap access?!?!
Think of the children!!
Permit-less construction will not be tolerated!
