Mushrooms grow from spores, not seeds. You can grow them indoors or -out with the right supplies.

– nutrient-rich soil
– growing bed
– hot water or a pressure cooker
– substrate
– temperature and humidity control
You need a cool and dark area, such as a basement or crawl space. Different mushroom species thrive in different substrates. Keeping your substrate clean — to fight off competing organisms — is very important.
