On May 3rd, James Comey confirmed – under oath – that he has “Not been pressured to close an investigation for political purposes,” in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee, because he says, “It would be a big deal to tell the FBI to stop doing something like that – without an appropriate purpose.

“I mean, where oftentimes they give us opinions that we don’t see a case there and so you ought to stop investing resources in it. But I’m talking about a situation where we were told to stop something for a political reason. That would be a very big deal. It’s not happened in my experience.”

  • Not pressured by just anyone, pressured by the department of justice. This is why Sessions or senior officials could not stop the investigation without the president. Why is the media going on about a Deputy Attorney Generals letter when recused Attorney General Sessions submitted one also?

    • Well, whe the president was the only one who made prssure in secret, the oath can happen without fear of discovery.
I do not trust politicians in any way.
