Speaking to the Commonwealth Club of California, former European NATO head General Wesley Clark describes the policy coup that occurred after 9/11. “Hard-nosed people” took over the direction of U.S. policy, keeping the rest of us in the dark.
Right after 9/11, a staffer from the Joint Chiefs of Staff made clear that the wars in the Middle East were being planned years in advance, without regard to strategy whatsoever.
