If you’ve been through a very tight and strict educational regimen, it might be difficult for you to see eye-to-eye with some of the film “Zeitgeist’s” ideas. Some people shun central-planning concepts fairly instinctively as being the road to totalitarianism.
But no matter your learning, an examination of the current economic model makes one thing clear: Even if you think “Zeitgeist” creator Peter Joseph is wrong, the status quo isn’t working. Here the filmmaker tries to think thoughtfully — and at times, even rebut — his harshest critics.
