The late Michael Crichton, whom you may know as the author of “Jurassic Park,” said that science has become too politicized.
Most people assume linearity in a nonlinear world. Crichton reviewed what happened at Chernobyl. While the event was tragic, Crichton says that its death toll has been massively overestimated — with only 50 people actually dying, the number of Americans who die in traffic accidents each day.
