The National Defense Authorization Act is a budget for the Defense Department, which is renewed every few years. The most recent NDAA, signed by President Obama on December 31st, 2012, granted the US Government the right to indefinitely detain US citizens suspected of association with either Al-Qaeda or the Taliban, without due process.
This most recent NDAA even asserts the right to kill such “suspects” without a trial or anything that resembles US Law.
Daphne Lee, of People Against the NDAA (PANDA), self-described as “just a mom” waited seven hours to speak out to the Clark County, Nevada Board of Commissioners.
