    The discovery of a brown dwarf, low-temperature, unlit twin to our Sun, which is the other part of our binary solar system has been predicted by several respected scientists, including Richard Muller, from UC Berkeley and LSU’s John Matese and Daniel Whitmire. Previous infrared telescope surveys were not of a high enough resolution to detect it but proponents of this theory say that it will be discovered in our lifetimes.
