As a way to apologize for that wacky cellphone tower paranoia p0rn that I put you through yesterday (which was so over the edge, I couldn’t resist running it – although I should have been more forthcoming about how it had me cracking up hysterically, the entire time I was writing the article).
So after that nightmare, I think we all deserve to be reminded, for a moment about the miracle of being alive, in this irresistibly fluffy champion of that great YouTube genre of “unlikely animal friends” clips – which is, ironically enough, a viral ad for a cellphone operating system.
Trust me. It’s so sweet, that people don’t care that it’s an ad. (I only wish I were getting paid to run it).
I thought allowing comments was going to be a lot of work, that I’d have to spend hours removing troll comments every day – instead, your comments are really great and truly show what I’ve been saying all along – that this newsletter and website are my summary of the things that I read you telling me every day. I love you guys!
Carol: This clip reminds of that Biblical quote, in the Book of Isaiah: “The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.” I’m not a Biblical scholar at all but I think this passage has to do with a prophecy about what it will be like, when the indwelling spirit of the Lord is among us – the Messiah.
As MacGyver (of Richard Dean Anderson fame, a.k.a. Col Jack O’Neil in Stargate SG1) says, “Dogs are my favorite people.” In this case, I’d make the general relativity version, “Animals are my favorite Earthlings”. That is, until I become friends with an Extra Terrestrial; then, I will no doubt further generalize the concept into “Animals are my favorite sentient life forms in the galaxy”.

The article about weaponized cell towers is correct. Our atmosphere is ionized and the towers are an over kill. This is genocide.
