With this many satellites around the planet, it’s a miracle that anyone ever has low signal on his or her cellphone.
How many of these, you have to be curious, are out of order, and how many are still in operation? And how often, if at all, are manned space missions running or not running into these things?
Google Earth has amassed this collection of approximately 13,000 satellites around the planet.
